
A Residents' Committee is in operation made up of eight residents. The committee has its own constitution and the Annual General Meeting is held in March.
The group meets when necessary to arrange social functions. They are kept informed of Board decisions and a member is invited to attend Board meetings to report. The committee can advise the Board of issues affecting residents through the Manager or through their report to the Board. A representative attends the Staff Quality Improvement meetings.
There is a good rapport between residents, staff and Board members and social functions usually provide an opportunity for all to socialise.
