Accommodation is offered to persons who have been assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) and a relevant list of people who have been assessed by the ACAT team is maintained.
Individuals whose names are listed express specific interest and provide further information to Karingal prior to an offer being made. Offers of placement come from this list. Priority will also be based on urgency of need.
Karingal is situated within the Warrawee Lodge (Waikerie) Retirement Village and offers low level care accommodation.
Pre-Admission Requirements are according to the Commonwealth Government guidelines for residential aged care facilities.
Trained staff are employed to oversee the smooth running of the complex.
Residents are assisted with their daily needs.
